I cannot contain my excitement!!! Liana will be in Austin, TX in just a few short weeks!!! Okay okay, 3 weeks to be exact! She's hosting her amazing Photo Biz workshop right in this city!!!! How amazing is that?!?!

I cannot contain my excitement! Not only because of it being in Austin. Not only because of it being a business boot camp geared to Photography but because there is only limited seating available! We've had that much of a great turnout!!!

I just cannot contain my excitement!

So by now I'm sure that you've all been patiently wondering where I've been...and as shown from previous "disappearance" I tend to be a busy bee, meeting new brides, getting to know my brides and families, and most of all, creating amazing adventures! So where have I been this time?

I've been a busy bee all around. By that I mean, complete re-branding, down to the name. I've been networking and meeting new brides and vendors, as well as getting to know my brides and families who I have had the privilege of working with, as well as those I'm jumping for joy to work with in the very near future!

What do I mean by re-branding down to the name? Simple, I've started the amazing transition of being known as Natasja L Photography to Studio516 Photography & Design. Phew!!! Finally I can share that big secret I've been holding on to for dear life!! Yes, Studio516 Photography & Design is in full swing. There's still the web transition to work through, but in terms of recognition, I've been on overdrive.

What does Studio516 Photography & Design mean? Studio516 Photography & Design has soo many amazing things in store for brides and families. What exactly? Well, that's the next surprise :) What I can tell you is Studio516 is moving in an amazing direction.

As most of you know, September was a big month in terms of pushing the creative envelope. How so? Paul of Photographers' Reel was in Austin, and we shot an amazing intro video for my website! And yes, it's the first official work showcasing the name Studio516! You can check out the video here

So as you can imagine, this process is an amazing journey and so many new things are in store!

How exciting is it to know that Photo Biz Boot Camp is coming to Austin?
As exciting as it is waking up on Christmas morning to open presents!!!!
I'm anxiously counting down the days to attend this workshop. It's great to know that there are avenues available for understanding the business end to just about anything, and Photography is no different. The ups. The downs. The in betweens. That's right! I'm a participating photographer for this amazing event. Why? Because it holds a special place for me. Too many Mothers, Grandmothers, Sisters, Wives, and Best Friends lose the courageous battle to this illness. We all know someone or is affected by someone who is fighting to live and fighting to be among the amazing individuals who call themselves SURVIVORS

So, on Sunday October 11, 2009 I am donating all session fees to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation® to continue to the search and cure for Breast Cancer.

Finally...the long awaited blog for Emelia + Hank's Anticipation session! They're having a Baby Boy any day now, and they are looking forward to meeting him, they can't wait!

JV and I drove to Dallas just for this session and it was definitely well worth it! Just seeing parents-to-be full of excitement and wonder makes it all worth while to capture!
